Launching and Webinar Master of Communication Science, Optimizing Communication in Computerized Transformation Towards Golden Indonesia 2045

 In 2022, Indonesia will be declared as the holder of the Presidency of the Groups of Twenty (G20) for one year. President Joko Widodo emphasized that through the theme “Recover Together, Recover Stronger”, he seeks to support inclusive, people centered, environmentally friendly and sustainable growth as the promise of the Indonesian government. As one of the higher teaching institutions, Al-Azhar University Indonesia has a responsibility to contribute to supporting computerization optimization in accelerating Indonesia's economic growth after the pandemic.

 Currently, Al Azhar University-Indonesia has obtained an Operational Permit for the Establishment of a Masters Program in Communication Science, which is expected to be capable of responding to industrial needs. Therefore, as a manifestation of gratitude for such things, the Master of Communication Science Program held a launching as well as webinars with the theme: Optimizing Communication in Computerized Transformation Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045. This activity aims to prepare a quality generation that is ready to welcome the Advanced Indonesia Era, explore  the important role of communication and computerized technology, as well as building public opinion about the importance of teaching in preparing quality human resources.

 Given the current situation and conditions, the activity is carried out in a Hybrid manner through the zoom meeting application, as well as offline which is attended in a limited manner with strict health protocols at the Arifin Panigoro Hall, Al-Azhar University Indonesia on Monday, March 28, 2022.

 In his remarks, the Chancellor of UAI, Prof.  Dr.  Ir.  Asep Saefuddin, M.Sc., hopes that this master's program in Communication Science will support the motivation to continue to contribute science to the younger generation, and teaching professionals in Indonesia. We believe that communication science in particular can provide the best service as well as the research and community service that is much needed in this field of communication.

 YPIA Lay Leader, H. Muhammad Suhadi, S. Kom, who was also present at this event gave a speech and felt grateful and proud that UAI had instilled aspects of spiritual points, Islamic manners and morals and teaching and learning methods. Hopefully, especially the master of communication science program, can face the challenges of Indonesia at this time and will give a new color to the master of communication program in Indonesia.

 Dr.  Ir.  Paristiyanti Nurwardani, M.P., Chair of LLDIKTI III, also congratulated Al-Azhar University in Indonesia for obtaining a master's degree in communication science. In his remarks, he wanted to graduate from UAI's Master of Communication Studies not only to get a diploma but also to have a national and international level competency certification related to various types of communication activities.

 Universities must also cooperate in research, technological development in the industrial world and cooperate with nearby industries and optimize the economy. At the time Indonesia was Golden and from now on, Indonesia supported the downstreaming of various types of mbkm implementation, namely the downstreaming of blue economics, green economics, economic computerization, tourism and health independence. UAI should also participate in preparing 9 million computerized talents for the benefit of Indonesia for 2035.

 Present as a keynote speaker, namely Prof.  Dr.  Widodo Muktiyo, Specialist Staff of the Minister for Communication and Mass Media, who said that at this time Indonesia must have computerization talent and Indonesia's computerized infrastructure is very important. Universities can also prepare a computerized society, with a computerized human resource development approach through computerized training programs such as leadership academy, computerized talent and computerized literacy.  "Let's optimize the theme of this talk, Optimizing Communication in Computerized Transformation Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045, not something utopian, not just thinking, and we are really upgrading from now on, so computerization is getting more advanced."

 In the webinar session, each resource person gave an explanation about this theme and expressed congratulations to UAI, including Prof. Dr. Engkus Kuswarno, M.S.  said that at this time human change received a lot of support from the virtual world and the computerized world as a vehicle for communication literacy between humans.  Apart from Indonesia, gold in 2045, we also need to go through industry 4.0, 5.0, metafers and feel connecting the world via the 5G era and after the covid-19 pandemic. We are really famous for virtual communication so we experience 2 worlds, a real world and a virtual world.  In the corporate world, such as one of the Masters in Communication Studies at UAI, it is famous for writing virtual domiciles, then workers can feel the office atmosphere in their own rooms because they work remotely with smart devices, meetings and talks via teleconference. Next year there is a 50% chance for the generation that has competitive, highly qualified cognitive ability skills, this is the same as the situation of the world virtual word. Finally, congratulations to Al-Azhar University Indonesia for launching the master's program in communication science, hopefully it will add to the benefits and benefits for the UAI academic community which is also the 70th anniversary, and for the Indonesian nation and state, especially to give a new color to welcoming Indonesia gold 2045.

 Followed by Prof.  Yinghuei Chen, Ph.D.  who gave his explanation that lessons in the 21st century many teaching specialists think that schools are starting to teach the four Cs principles, including critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.  These four things must be strengthened to face the 21st century. More broadly, schools should teach technical skills or expand life goals and career skills. Part of this is that students and human resources should be capable of dealing with change, capable of learning new things, of controlling mental balance in uncertain conditions. There is a work program offered to collaborate between Indonesia and Taiwan.

 Dr.  Zuriani Ahmad Zukarnaia, explained that currently we are facing the era of computerized communication, currently communication is supported by tools and technology. The advantages of computerized communication are faster, private, reliable, affordable, improve relations. Digital is only an advantage, but there are also disadvantages including, potential for misunderstanding, less personal interaction, more distractions, has led to many addictions, cyber fraud.
