Knowing How to Brainstorm in Learning

 While learning, a brainstorming system that can be used in the classroom is a technique or method used by the teacher in classification discussions.  The goal is to be able to get new views, thoughts, and ideas in solving a problem from students to teachers.  Next, students can present their assumptions or provide comments so that the problem becomes a new difficult situation.

 The way of brainstorming in learning is like the way of talking.  In such a situation, each category will realize ideas, get issues, insights, experiences, and knowledge from all members. In the speech system, a person can provide a response, support, addition, subtraction, or rejection of another person's idea.  However, such things do not happen in brainstorming.

The Purpose of Brainstorming In Learning Way
As introduced by Makarao in 2009 that the use of brainstorming in the way learning works has the following objectives:

Support the delivery of new views and learning experiences that help reflect on each category.

Get assumptions, new views of the lesson regarding the issue being discussed as much as possible.

Fostering lessons by optimizing and integrating creative creativity from various new perspectives that have emerged.

Stimulate student involvement in learning in class.
Produce a pleasant learning atmosphere.
Train the creative power of the learners' efforts.

Train students to express ideas according to the power of imagination.

Collect a lot of assumptions from all classifications that fit the concrete situation in the field.

Brainstorming Steps in Learning
The following are some of the brainstorming steps in working on learning in class:

Everyone should understand the rules when they want to carry out brainstorming. 

Teachers should re-introduce all laws on this matter, either by attaching it to a wall or blackboard.  

So, all students know and understand the rules of learning in the way of brainstorming.

The teacher must decide the topic first, by discussing it or writing it on a flipchart.

The teacher should appoint a student to write all the inspirations on the flipchart or on the blackboard.

The teacher asks each category or student to express new views regarding the topic to be discussed.

Stop and also rest or incubation period to realize inspiration. If the teacher plans to continue at the evaluation stage or the first step, then the break can be accompanied by a discussion for the stage of clarifying all new views, but not giving criticism.

The teacher carries out an evaluation of new views, discussing one by one the responses in class.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Brainstorming in Class
When applying the brainstorming system to learning, children can be active in their efforts because they can voice their opinions freely.

Apart from training students with strong efforts and logical and systematic efforts, it also increases students' learning attention.You can rely on brainstorming to increase student participation when they want to get learning.

 For students who are not active like that, they will get help from the teacher or from friends who are smarter. Learning competitions occur in a healthy manner, with a free and happy learning atmosphere. An atmosphere of democracy but consistent discipline can really be grown.

 However, there are some weaknesses that can occur.  For example, in children who are less intelligent, they may be left behind.  Teachers also sometimes don't give enough time for all students to make critical efforts.

 Teachers also only work to accommodate assumptions, but there is no resume. Thus, it does not guarantee the existence of problem solving in the classroom.Difficult can also develop on components that do not match your wishes.

 Overview
 The brainstorming system can be applied in the classroom when learning how to work is educational. Children can run brainstorming with a group or individual system.However, there are always advantages and disadvantages of such a system.
